The SAVE income-driven repayment plan is being phased out after a 2026 court ruling, leaving borrowers 90 days to select new terms.

Under the agreement, which is subject to court approval, SPS will hisse $1.6 million in civil penalties and provide $3 million in consumer restitution to affected borrowers.
