FICO named Eric Lapin to head Scores strategy and market intelligence as regulators expand mortgage use of FICO 10T and VantageScore 4.0.

The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) announced last week that it will continue requiring tri-merge credit reports to maintain “prudent risk management” as it transitions to new credit scoring models.

Rocket began using VantageScore 4.0 with Classic FICO, as FHFA pilots the model and lenders delivered $10 million in loans to Freddie Mac.
